NOPD Identifies Suspect in Auto Theft, Domestic Abuse Incident on Curran Road

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Aubry Simon (DOB: 12-17-1962) in connection with an auto theft and domestic abuse battery incident that occurred on August 10, 2018 in the 13900 block of Curran Road.

Detectives determined that on the aforementioned date, Simon allegedly arrived at the victim’s residence and demanded access to personal property. When the victim instructed Simon to leave due to an active State of Louisiana protective order, Simon allegedly became enraged and struck the victim and gained possession of the victim’s car keys. Simon then reportedly fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

When located, Simon will be arrested for auto theft, domestic abuse battery and violation of a protective order.
