Jackson surrendered to authorities in the 1400 block of North Broad Street.

Jackson was arrested as the suspected perpetrator in a homicide that occurred on October 12, 2015 in the 1300 block of Annette Street.

At about 3:58 p.m. on October 12, 2015, Fifth District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting in the 1300 block of Annette Street. Upon arrival, officers found a black male subject with several gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

Through investigation, detectives determined Jackson to be a perpetrator in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest. On November 19, 2015, officers arrested Jerry Pipkins (DOB: 03-13-1998) for second degree murder in connection with this incident.

Jackson was also arrested as the suspected perpetrator in a triple shooting incident that occurred on Interstate 10 Westbound at Crowder Boulevard on August 1, 2018 involving two juvenile victims.

At around 12:21 p.m., five occupants were traveling eastbound in a single vehicle on I-10 West near Crowder Boulevard when an unknown vehicle pulled next to the victims and opened fire. The vehicle then fled off the interstate onto the service road.

Three victims were injured in the shooting, including a 16-year-old juvenile male with a gunshot wound to the leg, a 22-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the leg and forearm and a 2-year-old juvenile male with graze wounds to the shoulder and sternum. The victims were transported to an area hospital via EMS for treatment of injuries and all victims are in stable condition. Additionally, an adult female and 3-year-old juvenile female were also present with the victims at the time of the shooting incident, but did not suffer injuries.

During investigation, Seventh District detectives learned that Jackson was reportedly involved in an ongoing dispute with the victims and was allegedly directly involved in this shooting. Based on this information, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Jackson.
