Traffic Stop by NOPD Leads to Four Arrests on Multiple Charges

A traffic stop in the Seventh District on August 6, 2017, led to the arrest of four individuals on various charges.

At about 11:15 p.m., Seventh District officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop for an observed traffic violation. However, the driver of the vehicle – later identified as Fredrick Lowe (DOB: 08-16-1998) – disregarded the officer’s signal and led the officers on a brief vehicle pursuit that ended at the intersection of Bullard Avenue and Midpoint Drive.

Upon the vehicle coming to a stop, the four individuals occupying the vehicle exited and fled in different directions. With the assistance of Louisiana State Police and Seventh District Task Force detectives, all four subjects were apprehended. Along with Lowe, the occupants were identified as Yvenert Dolce Jr. (DOB: 06-02-1995), Donovan Poole (DOB: 11-25-1990) and Kendrick Greenidge (DOB: 03-26-1998).

Individual searches led detectives to find that Lowe and Greenidge were in possession of small plastic bags of material tested and confirmed to be marijuana. Additionally, a search of the vehicle resulted in the detectives locating and confiscating two handguns and a small digital scale. Further investigation revealed that Dolce and Poole are both convicted felons.

All four men were booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on the following charges:

  • Lowe was booked with possession of a firearm while in possession of a Schedule I drug, flight from an officer and resisting an officer.
  • Poole was booked with felon in possession of a firearm and resisting an officer.
  • Greenidge was booked with possession of a firearm while in possession of a Schedule I drug and resisting an officer.
  • Dolce was charged with felon in possession of a firearm and resisting an officer.
