UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Robbery on St. Peter Street

 

On 08/07/2017 at approximately 6:15 pm, the below pictured subject who identified himself as Joshua Acosta (W/M D.O.B: 03/27/1996), surrendered himself to the Eighth District Police Station for his involvement in a simple robbery that occurred on 07/29/2017 near Decatur and St. Peter Streets.

 He was arrested and booked with LA RS 14:65 Simple Robbery.

Orginial Story 

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify an individual wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred at the intersection of St. Peter and Decatur streets on July 29, 2017.

At about 5:05 a.m., the pictured subject allegedly accompanied the victim from Jackson Square while stating that he would direct the victim to his hotel on Decatur Street. The subject led the victim to the area, at which time he reportedly struck the victim in the head with a closed fist and took the victim’s property.

The subject is described as a white male with long hair, seen held up via ponytail in this photo, as well as a chin-strap style beard and sleeve-style tattoos on his arms. The subject was last seen wearing the clothing seen in the photo, along with eyeglasses and piercings in both ears.

The subject was accompanied by two other unknown white males at the time of the incident. No footage is available of the additional subjects at this time.
