Suspect Identified in Theft, Burglary Incidents in Third District

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Phillip Blatcher (DOB: 08-26-1986) in connection with a theft and burglary of a business, both incidents occurring in the Third District.

On Sunday, July 30, 2017 at about 1:50 a.m., the above pictured known male, with shoulder length black hair wearing blue V-neck  T-shirt and orange shorts reportedly stole a flat-screen television from the Empire Express Gas station at 4301 Louisa Street.

The pictured individual is also believed to have committed a burglary of a business in the 4800 block of Chef Menteur Highway at about 3:15 a.m. on August 1, 2017.

As investigation progressed, detectives were able to develop Blatcher as the perpetrator in each of the incidents.
