UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Armed Robbery Investigations Involving Assault Rifle

On Sunday August 6, 2017,  Torian Douglas (D.O.B 1/5/1982) turned himself in at the Second District police station accompanied by his lawyer. 

Doug was wanted from armed robbery in multiple districts. He was booked accordingly.

 

Orginial Story

After a multi-district investigation along with the SOD Tiger Unit, the NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Torian Douglas (DOB: 01/05/1982) after he was discovered as the perpetrator in two recent armed robberies. 

On August 2, 2017, Second District detectives responded to an armed robbery in the 5400 block of Tchoupitoulas Street where the suspect was armed with an assault rifle during the robbery.  Douglas then fled the location in a four-door White Chevy Silverado bearing LA plate number C478887. 

Through the course of the investigation, Douglas was also discovered as the perpetrator in the recent armed robbery that occurred on Friday, August 4, 2017 in the 2200 block of Joseph Street. However, investigators believe he may now be traveling in a black two-door vehicle possibly a Honda.
