Person of Interest Sought in Aggravated Battery at Royal and Frenchman Streets

The NOPD is seeking to speak with a person of interest believed to have information on an aggravated battery that occurred on August 17, 2017 at the intersection of Royal and Frenchman streets.

At about 3:30 p.m., the victim was struck in the head multiple times with a blunt object by an acquaintance known to the victim only as “Dre.”

The pictured individual is believed to have information pertinent to this incident, and is known to frequent Jackson Square and the Frenchmen Street and Washington Square Park area. This individual is not wanted in connection with the incident at this time.
