The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in the investigation of an armed robbery involving a carjacking that occurred on April 7, 2023, in the 3200 block of Gentilly Boulevard.
At about 9:41 a.m., the pictured unknown male subject reportedly approached the victim, who was sitting in her silver 2016 Honda Fit in a parking lot. The subject allegedly produced a handgun and ordered the victim out of her car. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was later found abandoned in the 4800 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
