WANTED: Suspect Identified in Seventh District Attempted Murder

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Jermaine Sandifer (DOB: 08-25-1999) in connection with an attempted murder incident that occurred in the 4500 block of Wilson Avenue on March 2, 2019.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives have positively identified Sandifer as the perpetrator who, along with a second unidentified black male subject, allegedly shot the victim to the lower body as the victim exited a vehicle at the location.

When located, Sandifer will be arrested for attempted second degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of a firearm.
