NOPD Seeking to Locate Suspect in Third District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect believed to be responsible for an armed robbery which occurred in the 3900 block of Gentilly Boulevard on April 11, 2019.

The pictured subject – an unidentified black male believed to be approximately 20-25 years old and seen with a thin beard and wearing a hat and Champion brand fanny pack – allegedly produced a firearm and demanded the victim’s cell phone and passcode. The victim complied and the subject fled eastbound on Gentilly Boulevard, south on Iroquois Street, eastbound on Pocahontas Street, then unknown. The subject fled the area with a black female seen wearing a yellow shirt and khaki pants.
