NOPD Searches for Suspects in Eighth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subjects who are wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the 1100 block of Burgundy Street.

On March 31, 2019 at or around 3:50 a.m., the victims were walking to their vehicle when they were approached by two unknown male subjects. A heavyset white male subject with short reddish blonde hair wearing an orange shirt and dark colored pants reportedly produced a box cutter and demanded the victims’ property. One of the victims complied and handed her purse to the perpetrator. A second subject described as a black male with short dreads wearing a black shirt and black jeans allegedly grabbed the second victim’s wallet and cellphone. The subjects then fled the scene. The victims also advised officers that there were two additional black male subjects who stood behind them during the armed robbery.

Anyone with any information regarding the pictured subjects’ identity or whereabouts should notify Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
