NOPD Arrests Suspects in Eighth District Simple Robbery

The NOPD has arrested Jeremiah Alexander (pictured above at left, DOB: 04-01-1987) and Louis Brown (pictured above, at right, DOB: 09-11-1982) in connection with a simple robbery that occurred on April 9, 2019 near the intersection of Toulouse and Dauphine streets.

Alexander and Brown, along with two other unknown males, reportedly choked the victim from behind and stuck him repeatedly during the robbery. Reviewing surveillance video, including footage obtained from the Real Time Crime Center, NOPD Eighth District detectives visual evidence of the perpetrators.

On April 10, detectives relocated to the same intersection, where both Alexander and Brown were located standing at the same intersection, matching the description of the perpetrators from the day before who wore the same clothing. Both were brought to the back to the Eighth District station, where they confessed to the crime and were arrested. The two were transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center, where they were booked accordingly.
