NOPD Arrests Suspect in Seventh District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD quickly arrested Robert Moody (DOB; 11-06-1986) in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm that occurred on April 3 in the 7800 block of Venice Street.

The victim told the police that he and Moody were reportedly involved in a verbal altercation regarding a previous incident. Moody then allegedly began pacing back and forth in front of the victim’s residence, reportedly holding a handgun, before allegedly pointing the gun at the victim. The victim, fearing for his life, fled back into his residence and called police. NOPD Seventh District officers responded and apprehended Moody at the scene

Moody was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for aggravated assault with a firearm.
