NOPD officers have arrested Devon Albert (DOB: 06-03-1989) after he was found in illegal possession of a concealed weapon while in the Eighth District.
On April 4, 2019 Eighth District officers were patrolling the area when they were advised that an unknown subject, later identified as Albert, was in possession of a concealed firearm while in an alcoholic beverage outlet.
Officers located the subject in the 400 block of Bourbon Street where he was detained. Officers performed a search on the subject and confiscated a concealed firearm.
Albert was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center where he was booked with illegal carrying of a firearm and illegal carrying of a firearm on the premises of an alcoholic beverage outlet.
