The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify four individuals wanted in connection with a property snatching incident that occurred in the 2000 block of North Rampart Street on March 25, 2018.
The victim told police that at about 8:50 p.m., he was walking in the 2000 block of North Rampart Street towards Elysian Fields Avenue carrying a bag of groceries. At that time, the victim said, four unknown black males believed to be teenagers were walking toward him on Elysian Fields Avenue. One of the subjects then reported rushed toward the victim, taking the victim’s grocery bag. The subjects then fled on foot on North Rampart Street toward Touro Street, and then in an unknown direction.
Surveillance captures of the four subjects believed to be responsible in this incident are included with this release.
