The NOPD is investigating a reported auto theft incident which occurred on April 3, 2018 in the 300 block of St. Charles Avenue, and is seeking the assistance of the public in locating the vehicle reported as stolen.
The victim told police that at about 10:10 a.m., he parked in the 300 block of St. Charles Avenue and given a valet permission to park the victim’s rental vehicle – described as a gray 2018 Nissan Rogue bearing Louisiana license plate # N493086. The victim told police he left the keys in the car with the doors unlocked, but with the engine turned off.
The valet told police that, at that time, he observed the vehicle being driven away by an unknown subject, heading westbound on St. Charles Avenue.
