The NOPD needs the public’s assistance in identifying two armed robbery suspects.
The victim reported that at approximately 10 p.m. on April 5, 2017, he was exiting his vehicle in the 2000 block of Adams Street when he was approached by two armed black males who demanded his property. The victim complied and the suspects fled on Adams toward Panola Street.
The suspects are described as 19-20-year-old black males, about 5'10” tall, with dark complexions. They were wearing dark hoodies and both were armed with handguns.

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
