NOPD Makes Arrest in Armed Robbery on St. Ann

The NOPD has arrested Karl Expose (DOB:  4/10/1985). He was wanted in connection with an armed robbery in the 1900 block of St. Ann Street.

 

On April 6, 2017, at 10:40 a.m. Eighth District Officers Christian Recile and Valentino Grayman responded to a suspicious person call in the 400 block of South Rampart Street. The individual, later identified as Expose, was apprehended without incident and relocated to the Orleans Parish Justice Center where he was booked accordingly.

 

Expose was wanted for 10 outstanding arrest warrants in Orleans Parish including:

 

  • Simple Criminal Damage to Property - Domestic, 1400 block of Heritage Lane (4th District)
  • Simple Battery - Domestic, N. Rocheblave/ Dumaine (1st District)
  • Aggravated Assault, N. Galvez/ Ursulines Ave.  (1st District)
  • Simple Battery - Domestic, 8600 block of Hammond Street (7th District)
  • Simple Battery - Domestic, 3000 block of Orleans Ave. – 3 counts (1st District)
  • Simple Battery - Domestic , 6700 block of Tara Lane (7th District)
  • Simple Criminal Damage to Property - Domestic, 6700 block of Tara Lane (7th District)

Armed Robbery

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
