NOPD Arrest Second Suspect in Homicide on Longfellow Street

The NOPD has arrested Malik Clark (DOB: 12/2/1998) in connection with the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Don Minor, which occurred on August 18, 2016 in the 4800 block of Longfellow Street. 

A little after midnight, Seventh District offers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered a black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside the residence. EMS responded, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

As the investigation progressed, detectives were able to positively identify Clark as the perpetrator.

Special Operations Division’s Vows Unit tracked Clark this morning (April 1) to the 2200 block of St. Ann Street. Clark was apprehended at the location without incident. 

Clark was booked into Central Lockup on a charge of second-degree murder.
