NOPD Seeking Suspect, Vehicle in Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash

The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in locating a suspect vehicle in the investigation of a fatal hit-and-run vehicle crash that occurred on September 19, 2023, at the intersection of Franklin and Filmore avenues.

Through investigation, NOPD Traffic Fatality Unit investigators have determined that the pictured vehicle – a dark-colored SUV with an unknown license plate and possible front-end damage – to be the perpetrator vehicle in this incident. Detectives are seeking to locate the vehicle and its occupant(s) at the time of the incident.
