On December 1, 2022, the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) and the U.S. Marshals arrested Michael Kirton (black male, DOB: 03-29-1978) in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on November 14, 2022, in the 1200 block of North Claiborne Avenue.

NOPD Arrests Multiple Juvenile Suspects in Investigation of Carjacking Incidents

The NOPD has arrested six juvenile black male suspects for illegal firearm possession and for possession of stolen property. These arrests were made relative to the investigation of multiple armed carjacking incidents reported on November 29, 2022.

Today (November 30, 2022), members of the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Jahlil Haroon (black male, DOB: 06-28-2000) in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on December 3, 2021, in the 2300 block of North Galvez Street.
