The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying four subjects in its ongoing investigation of a homicide that occurred earlier today (September 29, 2025) in the 200 block of Bourbon Street in the Eighth District.
At about 2:22 a.m., NOPD Eighth District officers responded to shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, officers located three gunshot wound victims – two adult females and one adult male. One of the adult females was declared deceased on scene, while the remaining adult female and adult male were transported to a local hospital. A short time later, a fourth female victim was located near the intersection of Saint Charles Avenue and Canal Street. The victim, who had sustained a graze gunshot wound, was also transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The depicted unknown heavyset black male wearing a black and white sweatshirt and black pants was viewed at the scene of the shooting at the time of the incident and is the suspected perpetrator. Three subjects considered to be persons of interest have been identified and interviewed.
Investigation into the case is active and ongoing. No additional information is currently available.
