The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating the suspected perpetrator of a shooting incident that occurred earlier today (September 17, 2025) in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
At about 11:15 a.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call of a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound(s). The victim was transported via EMS to a local hospital for treatment, while the perpetrator was seen fleeing the locating in an unknown vehicle.
Through investigation, detectives determined the pictured subject to be the perpetrator in this incident. This subject is reported to frequent the area where the shooting occurred.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
