NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted for Multiple Burglary Incidents in Second District

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for James Ventress (pictured, black male, DOB: 11-24-1976) in the investigation of multiple reported burglary incidents that occurred on August 2, 2022, in the 2700 block of Napoleon Avenue.

Through investigation, NOPD Second District detectives have positively identified Ventress as the perpetrator of two vehicle burglaries in a parking garage at the location. Additionally, Ventress has been identified as the perpetrator of a business burglary at the same location.
