NOPD Arrests Suspect in Investigation of Multiple Eighth District Simple Robbery Incidents

The NOPD has arrested Tyrone Clark (black male, DOB; 02-23-1979) in the investigation of three simple robbery incidents that occurred earlier this month in the Eighth District.

Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives positively identified Clark as the perpetrator in the following incidents:

  • A simple robbery on September 8 in the 800 block of Saint Louis Street
  • A simple robbery on September 15 in the 100 block of North Peters Street
  • A simple robbery on September 17 in the 100 block of Burgundy Street.

On September 20, detectives obtained arrest warrants on one count each of simple robbery in connection with these incidents. Later that day, officers located Clark in the downtown area. Clark fled from officers on foot but was quickly apprehended. Clark was arrested and booked accordingly into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.

Anyone with additional information on these incidents is urged to contact NOPD Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080.
