The NOPD Eighth District is looking to identify the pictured woman below after she was seen taking a victim’s cell phone that was plugged into the wall.
The incident happened on August 26, 2017. At 9 a.m., the victim plugged his cellphone into the wall outside of 8 Canal Street and then proceeded to fall asleep. The victim told police he awoke at about 10:50 a.m., and discovered his cellphone and wallet missing.
The above female was observed on security footage standing next to the victim as he was sleeping and she was also seen in possession of his stolen property.
