The NOPD Eighth District is searching for Malik Veal (DOB:06/06/1996 ) after he reportedly struck a victim multiple times with a knife.
At about 5:30 a.m., the wanted subject was involved in a verbal altercation with his partner on September 3, 2017 in the 1000 block of South Peters Street. During the course of the argument, Veal struck the victim in the face multiple times with a fist which resulted in a loss of consciousness.
Veal then proceeded to push a bladed weapon against the victim’s neck causing several lacerations to the area.
He is currently wanted for second degree battery.
