The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating a subject believed to be responsible for an auto theft that occurred in the 900 block of Canal Street on September 3, 2017.
At about 12:35 a.m., an unknown black male subject became very friendly with the valet staff at an area hotel, at which time he convinced the hotel valet staff that he parked his vehicle at the location. The unknown male drove away from the area with a black 2016 Land Rover SUV.
