Search Warrant Leads to Seven Additional Pounds of Marijuana Confiscated

 After the arrest of four subjects last week, a search warrant executed on Thursday (Sept. 7) led Seventh District officers to seven additional pounds of marijuana and the rebooking of two subjects.

Just last week, the NOPD Seventh District arrested four subjects after they were found with bottles of ecstasy, liquid THC, marijuana, a stolen gun and over $11,000 in cash in the 8400 block of South I-10 Service Road.

Through the course of the investigation, Detective Dylan Warter and Detective Michael Sartain secured a search warrant for a home in the 4800 block of Mendez Drive on September 7, 2017. The search resulted in detectives locating and confiscating approximately an additional 7 lbs. of marijuana, totaling 14 lbs.confiscated during the course of the entire investigation. 

D. Wiltz and M. Davis were rebooked with possession with the intent to distribute Marijuana and T. Wiltz was rebooked with principal to distribution of marijuana.
