Person of Interest Sought in Homicide on Tulane Avenue

Person of Interest Sought in Homicide on Tulane Avenue

The NOPD is seeking to speak with an individual believed to be a person of interest in a homicide that occurred on June 3, 2017 in the 3700 block of Tulane Avenue.

At around 12:39 a.m., First District officers were near the area of the 3700 block of Tulane Avenue when they heard shots fired from a social gathering in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered five victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two victims were transported by EMS to the hospital and one victim went to the hospital by private conveyance. Two male victims were pronounced dead on scene by EMS.

s investigation into the incident progressed, detectives developed Dianta Tropez (DOB: 03-28-1994) as a person of interest.

Tropez is not wanted in connection with this incident, but is being sought for questioning.
