The NOPD is seeking the assistance of citizens in locating a moving truck reported stolen in an armed carjacking that occurred on September 4, 2017 in the 4900 block of Bullard Avenue.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 1 p.m. in the parking lot of a strip mall in the area.
The vehicle reported stolen is a yellow 26-foot Penske truck bearing Indiana license plate # 2242640.
The perpetrator in this incident is described as a black male between 35 and 40 years old, standing approximately 6’0” tall with long dreadlocked hair.
A picture is included of a vehicle similar in color, year, make and model to the vehicle reported stolen in this incident.
