NOPD Investigating Homicide on Josephine Street

The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that left a male victim in his early 30s dead.

 

On September 5, 2016 at around 11:39 p.m., Sixth District officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 2800 block of Josephine Street. When officers arrived, they observed a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the name of the victim and determine the official cause of death.
