Suspect in Attempted Residential Burglary Wanted by NOPD

NOPD Sixth District detectives are looking for an unknown white male who tried to break in to a home on September 15, 2016, in the 900 block of Thalia Street.

Around 3:50 p.m., the subject seen in the photos below tried to break in to the home, but the owner stopped him at the door. The suspect then ran off in an unknown direction. The homeowner told police the suspect appeared to be wearing a blue latex glove at the time of incident, which he later discarded as he fled the scene.

Police are also investigating the suspect as a person of interest in several residence burglaries recently reported in the Garden District area.
