Suspect Sought in Auto Burglary on O’Keefe Avenue

Suspect Sought in Auto Burglary on O’Keefe Avenue
The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating an individual believed to be responsible for an auto burglary in the 400 block of O’Keefe Avenue. The incident occurred on September 13, 2016.
 
At about 3:30 p.m., an unknown white male subject was captured on surveillance video taking a purse out of a vehicle parked in a parking garage in the area before fleeing the scene. Photos of the individual can be found below.
 
The individual is described as standing 5’7” tall and wearing a blue Dodgers jersey and khaki pants with black and white tennis shoes. He is also seen with a black skateboard.

1. Lock the doors

2. Close windows and sunroofs

3. Don’t leave valuables such as laptops, cell phones, wallets, purses or GPS devices in plain view

4. Put away the garage door opener and any items with personal information

5. Move valuables to the trunk before reaching your destination

6. Don’t leave keys in the vehicle
