The NOPD is investigating the shooting death of a 21-year-old man.
At approximately 2:16 a.m. on September 15, 2016, NOPD responded to a call of gunshots in the 1400 block of North Robertson Street. Upon arrival officers discovered an unknown black male lying on the ground between two houses. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity and official cause of death.
