New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for armed carjacking.
Wanted is Dawand Wilson (pictured), Black male, DOB 01/29/2001.
According to investigators, around 8:15 p.m. on September 17, 2025 a carjacking involving multiple suspects occurred in the 3100 block of Rue Parc Fontaine. Dawand Wilson has been identified as being one of the suspects. A warrant for his arrest is on file.
Note Dawand Wilson is considered armed and dangerous. Citizens who spot him should not interact with him and should call police instead.
