New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for auto theft and illegal possession of stolen things.
Wanted is Shanika Shaquita Turner (pictured), Black female, DOB 10/25/1983. She may reside at an address in Chalmette, LA.
According to investigators, the victim's 2002 Buick was stolen at around 4:25 a.m. on October 7, 2025 from a parking lot in the 4100 block of South Carrollton Avenue. On October 17, 2025 the stolen vehicle was sold to a scrap yard by Shanika Shaquita Turner. The vehicle was later destroyed by the scrap yard.
