UPDATE: Braylon Parker has been recovered and is safe. Louisiana State Police has subsequently canceled the Amber Alert issued in this incident. Wanted suspect Braydon Nix remains at large. Anyone with information as to Nix’s whereabouts is now asked to call NOPD Special Victims Section Child Abuse Unit detectives at (504) 658-5267 or to report information anonymously to Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111.

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying a person of interest in its ongoing investigation of a reported aggravated rape that occurred on October 20, 2025, in the 1500 block of Marigny Street.
