Armed Robbery Suspect Sought in Third District Incident

The NOPD is seeking to locate and/or identify a suspect in the investigation of an armed robbery on October 9, 2020 in the 4200 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

At about 8:03 a.m., the pictured unknown male entered a business and selected two items from an isle and approached the front counter. The suspect then reportedly partially displayed a handgun from his pocket and threatened to shoot a store employee if the employee did not open a cash register. The employee complied, at which time the suspect allegedly took cash from the register and fled the scene.
