Suspect Sought in Eighth District Attempted Armed Robbery

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating and identifying a suspect in the investigation of an attempted armed robbery that occurred on October 13, 2019.

Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives learned that the victim was walking in the 700 block of Fulton Street at about 3:53 a.m. when the pictured unknown black male approached him from the front while armed with a handgun. The subject then demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim then reportedly pointed to a surveillance camera in the area. The subject then fled the area northbound on Girod Street to South Peters Street, and then in an unknown direction.
