Person of Interest Sought for Questioning in Homicide on South Carrollton Avenue

The NOPD is seeking to interview a person of interest in connection with a fatal shooting incident that occurred on September 28, 2018 in the 3100 block of South Carrollton Avenue.

Officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting around 8:41 a.m. in the 3100 block of South Carrollton Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Brian Franklin has been identified as a person of interest in this investigation. While Franklin is not wanted in connection with this incident, detectives feel he may have knowledge of information pertinent to the investigation and wish to question him.
