About the program:

Since 2016 the U.S. Department of Justice has encouraged police departments across the country to participate in National Coffee with a Cop Day as a “simple but effective method of bringing police and communities together.”

Coffee with a Cop day is an opportunity to meet the men and women of NOPD. Community members are encouraged to come out and ask questions about crime or quality of life issues, share concerns, or just to get to know the officers working every day to make New Orleans safer.
