Suspect Wanted in Auto Burglary on Dauphine Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating and identifying a subject believed to be responsible for an auto burglary in the 2100 block of Dauphine Street on October 6, 2017.

During investigation of this incident, officers learned through viewing surveillance video that that at about 2:50 a.m., a vehicle parked in the 2100 block of Dauphine Street had been burglarized by an unknown white male subject, seen picking up a nearby brick and shattering the vehicle’s window before ransacking the vehicle. The subject then fled the scene on foot on Dauphine Street toward Elysian Fields Avenue. The victim reported that a Sony camera, backpack and several other miscellaneous items were taken from the vehicle.
