The NOPD is searching for a vehicle and its driver which were involved in a hit-and-run incident on September 3, 2016 at the intersection of Julia and Magazine streets.
At about 2:25 a.m., NOPD Traffic Division officers responded to the scene on a call of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle described as a white pickup truck. The driver of the truck did not stop after striking the victim and fled the scene. Citizens in the area called police and medical officials and remained on scene to provide officers with a description of the vehicle. The victim suffered bodily injury and head trauma in this incident.
