NOPD Investigating Triple Murder on Ulloa Street

The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred yesterday (Oct. 4) in the 3700 block of Ulloa Street that claimed the lives of three victims and wounded two more.

At about 9:25 p.m., First District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting in the area. Upon arrival, police discovered three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Numerous spent bullet casings were also found in the area. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining two victims were transported by EMS to an area hospital for treatment, but were both later pronounced dead from their injuries.

During the investigation, police learned that two additional victims suffered gunshot wounds in the incident and were transported to the hospital via private conveyance for treatment.

Investigation into this incident is ongoing. No further information is available at this time. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the identities of the deceased victims and official causes of death, upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.
