NOPD Identifies Dionte Jones as a Suspect in Four Armed Robberies

NOPD has issued arrest warrants for Dionte “Spade” Jones (DOB: 8-05-1995) in connection with four armed robberies.

 

Jones has been identified as a suspect in an armed robbery that took place inside of an apartment on September 26, 2016, in the 800 block of Gravier.

 

He was also been developed as a suspect in an armed robbery of the Discount East Gas Station in the 4900 block of Downman Road on June 14, 2016, and an attempted armed robbery of the same store on October 7, 2016.

 

Jones is also wanted for an August 31, 2016, armed robbery that took place inside a residence in the 5100 block of Bundy Road.

Armed Robbery

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
