NOPD Arrests Man Caught on Camera Burglarizing Shed on Belleville Street

NOPD Fourth District officers arrested Johnathon Guidry (DOB: 9-4-1985) today (Oct. 5) after he was caught on surveillance video taking equipment from a backyard shed in the 300 block of Belleville Street.

The incident happened on September 19, 2016 at around 12:10 a.m. Guidry was seen on surveillance video with another white male walking to the back of a residence in the area. They were then seen taking two weed eaters, a lawnmowers and a pressure washer from the shed. Through the course of the investigation, officers were able to identify Guidry as one of the two suspects involved. He was arrested today in the 500 block of Elmira Street. 

Officers brought Guidry to Central Lockup where he was booked with simple burglary and illegal possession of stolen property. An arrest warrant for the second suspect is pending.
