UPDATE: Missing Juvenile Reported from Preston Place Has Been Located

UPDATE: NOPD detectives report that Layoya Honeycutt II returned home today at about 12:30 pm and is in good condition.

Earlier story:

NOPD is looking for a missing juvenile who was last seen yesterday (Oct. 6) afternoon.

Latoya Honeycutt II (DOB: 9-13-2000) was reportedly last seen leaving her residence in the 2900 block of Preston Place around 5 p.m. Her mother stated that one of her other children told her that Latoya left on a bike with a female friend named Arianne and an unknown male. Honeycutt does not have a cell phone so the mother does not have any way of contacting her daughter.

Honeycutt is described as a black female, 5’7” tall and weighing 110 pounds with a slim build. She has a brown complexion, brown eyes and black hair in long braids. A photo of the missing juvenile is included below.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of this juvenile, please contact the Fourth District Detective unit at 504-658-6040.
