Funeral services for Marie Walker Woodfork, the wife of former NOPD Superintendent Warren Woodfork Sr., are set for Friday (Oct. 7).
Services will be at New Hope Baptist Church, at 1807 LaSalle St. Visitation is scheduled for 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., followed immediately by a funeral service.
Marie died September 28th after battling a longtime illness. She and her husband were married for 42 years.
Warren Woodfork Sr. served as the City’s Chief of Police from 1985 to 1991.
