New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a person of interest in connection with a homicide investigation.
Sought is Yashica Thompson (pictured), Black female, DOB 02/07/1986.
According to investigators, around 6:30 p.m. on November 11, 2025 in the 2100 block of South Claiborne Avenue a male victim was fatally wounded by gunfire.
Yashica Thompson is believed to possess information important to the investigation.
Note Yashica Thompson is NOT wanted for this crime and is sought only because of the information she is believed to possess.
